Catalina Ponce de Leon
- Catalina received her Master’s degree in International Development from York University, and her Project Management post-graduate certification from the University of Toronto.
- Catalina has worked in the non-profit industry for over 10 years, from healthcare licensing bodies to community organizations, with a focus on communications and stakeholder relations. She has proudly served on the boards of several organizations, including Toronto’s oldest women’s soccer club and a collective promoting Latin American art in Canada.
- Her trilingual abilities (English, Spanish and French) have provided opportunities for Catalina to blend her passion for education, community development and travel. She has conducted graduate research in the Ecuadorian Amazon, worked for advocacy groups in Chile, volunteered her skill-set in Peru and the Dominican Republic, and completed the final year of her undergraduate History specialization in France.
