Help develop comprehensive and sustainable programs for the treatment of children with Cleft Lip and Palate (CLP) and other Craniofacial Anomalies, Oral Cancer and Disabilities in Canada and Developing Countries around the Planet.
Your generous support will help us fund our mission to help those in need. Together, we can make a difference.
Planet Smile for Kids is a non-profit society currently applying for charitable status and cannot issue tax receipts. With your support, Planet Smile for Kids will continue working with medical professionals in Vietnam and Mexico with plans to slowly expand throughout Southeast Asia.
With support from the local community, Planet Smile for Kids went to Vietnam in November 2022 and trained 372 medical/dental professionals from Vietnam & neighbouring SEA countries.
As the need for cleft lip & palate treatment has not abate, we will be going back to Vietnam November 6th – 10th to train and we need your help.
You can help with one of the following:
We hope we can count on your support.
Below is a baby we met during training session.
With support from our event sponsors, advertisers, in-kind and cash donors, together we raised $34,813.07!
Planet Smile is deeply grateful for all who had a role in making our fundraiser a huge success.
Your engagement and generosity will make it possible for Planet Smile to continue developing comprehensive and sustainable programs for the treatment of children with cleft lip and palate (CLP).
Planet Smile will train CLP professionals from various cities in Vietnam and neighbouring Southeast Asian countries to make “the lasting impact of more smiles across all of Vietnam & indeed all of Southeast Asia” as noted by Erin Stieber, SmileTrain’s chief programs strategy officer.
With the partnership of SmileTrain, Planet Smile will share a multi-disciplinary team approach for the treatment of patients with CLP.
Training sessions & symposium will be held at the National Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology in Ho Chi Minh City from to November 12th – 18th.
With heartfelt gratitude to all who played a part in filling our planet with smiles.
